The terms used across this site, defined once.

Event photo sharing: The practice of gathering the photos and videos from one event, taken by everyone who attended, into a single shared and private album.
Organizer guest approval: A workflow in which each guest stays pending until the event organizer approves them, after which everything they upload arrives in the gallery directly.
Passwordless access: Entry to an event page using a 6-digit one-time code sent by email, with no password and no app to install.
EU data hosting: Storage of all event data exclusively on infrastructure inside the European Union, with GDPR handling built in.
Event QR code: A QR code that resolves to one event's page, so a guest can open it and upload photos with a single scan.
Shared album: The private album for one event, holding the photos the organizer has chosen to share, and visible only to the people invited to it.
Resumable upload: An upload that continues from the point it stopped if the connection drops, so large videos and HEIC photos do not have to start again.
Metadata removal (EXIF and GPS): GPS and camera data (EXIF) are removed automatically from every photo and video before it appears in the shared album.
